A friend of mine has started a new project that I think mentioning: Steam & Ink's Murder Your Darlings. Her name is Charlotte Jane Ivory, and she is a writer who describes herself as having "one foot in the twenty-first century, and one in the nineteenth." She also has written several "Victorianoir" stories. A noir story set in Victorian England? Sign me up!
Her new project, Murder Your Darlings, is all about becoming a better writer. And can't we all use a little bit of that? In my opinion, you can never have too much good advice. Thanks for the mention, Scott! I'm hoping that once the blog gains momentum, other writers will also submit their old work and explain what they would now change. Everyone is welcome, whether published or unpublished. In the meantime, though, I'll be contributing my own early writings.

Charlotte, thank you for the link and recommendation. I would submit my first novel, but I might have a place for it with an e-publisher. If not, I'll definitely submit something that I wish I'd killed long ago!
